
About the Role
An outpatient diagnostic imaging center located in Tamuning, Guam (U.S.A.) is seeking to hire a Radiologic Technologist – Ultrasound, aimed at healthcare professionals looking to develop an international career under an H-1B1 work visa (Chile – U.S.A.).
Guam is an island in the Western Pacific and an unincorporated U.S. territory. It has a healthcare system aligned with U.S. standards and serves a large local and tourist population, mostly from Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams as prescribed by medical staff.
Prepare, position, and assist patients during procedures.
Operate ultrasound equipment according to clinical protocols.
Conduct anatomical, physiological, and pathological sonographic studies, including fetal ultrasounds.
Ensure diagnostic quality of obtained images.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records.
Apply biosecurity and infection control standards.
Coordinate and discuss results with the radiologist when appropriate.
Requirements
University degree in Medical Technology.
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in diagnostic ultrasound.
Experience in clinical or hospital settings.
Solid knowledge of anatomy, applied physics, and operation of ultrasound equipment.
Additional certifications in imaging or ultrasound and experience in obstetric/fetal sonography will be valued.
Advanced or fluent English: Required for patient interaction, clinical work, and coordination with the medical team.
Chilean nationality (mandatory) to qualify for the H-1B1 visa.
Availability to relocate to Guam.
