About the Role

An outpatient diagnostic imaging center located in Tamuning, Guam (U.S.A.) is seeking to hire a Radiologic Technologist – Ultrasound, aimed at healthcare professionals looking to develop an international career under an H-1B1 work visa (Chile – U.S.A.).

Guam is an island in the Western Pacific and an unincorporated U.S. territory. It has a healthcare system aligned with U.S. standards and serves a large local and tourist population, mostly from Southeast Asia.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams as prescribed by medical staff.

  • Prepare, position, and assist patients during procedures.

  • Operate ultrasound equipment according to clinical protocols.

  • Conduct anatomical, physiological, and pathological sonographic studies, including fetal ultrasounds.

  • Ensure diagnostic quality of obtained images.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records.

  • Apply biosecurity and infection control standards.

  • Coordinate and discuss results with the radiologist when appropriate.

Requirements

  • University degree in Medical Technology.

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in diagnostic ultrasound.

  • Experience in clinical or hospital settings.

  • Solid knowledge of anatomy, applied physics, and operation of ultrasound equipment.

  • Additional certifications in imaging or ultrasound and experience in obstetric/fetal sonography will be valued.

  • Advanced or fluent English: Required for patient interaction, clinical work, and coordination with the medical team.

  • Chilean nationality (mandatory) to qualify for the H-1B1 visa.

  • Availability to relocate to Guam.
